Start where you are.
Maybe you’re constantly saying, once I look like I want to look, then I’ll do what I really want to do. Or, once I lose this many pounds, then I’ll put myself out there. This way of thinking doesn’t work. You have to start by appreciating yourself right now!
Self-love doesn’t happen overnight. It is a journey.
The best way I've found to move towards self-love, is to ask myself, “Does this choice show love to me, my body, and my hormones?”
Before choosing what to eat for dinner, ask, “Does this choice show love to me, my body, and my hormones?” No beating yourself up. Simply choose to show yourself love.
Before taking on another project when you’re already stressed out, ask, “Does this choice show love to me, my body, and my hormones?” No guilt. Just love.
Living a healthy life is about being kind to yourself.
